Senior Support Services

Effective June 1, 2026, the SAIP program user fees are increasing to cover 25 percent of the service costs to help keep the program sustainable. This change ensures that we can continue providing these essential services while balancing the cost between those who use the program and the general taxpayer.

The Peace River Regional District and the Dawson Creek Society for Community Living (DCSCL) are teaming up to offer the Seniors Aging in Place (SAIP) program. This program helps seniors in Electoral Area D and parts of Area E stay in their homes comfortably by providing essential support services like meals, two hours of housekeeping in bi-weekly visits as well as snow removal available November to March up to three times a month.

You can download the SAIP Brochure to learn more about the program and read testimonials.
