The noted Peace River Regional District offices will be closed on the following days (UPDATED):

• Monday, December 22, 2025: Fort St. John Office Closed
• Wednesday, December 24, 2025: Both Offices Closed at 2:30 pm 
• Thursday, December 25, 2025: Both Offices Closed (Christmas)
• Friday, December 26, 2025: Both Offices Closed (Boxing Day)
• Monday, December 29, 2025: Fort St. John Office Closed
• Thursday, January 1, 2026: Both Offices Closed (New Year's)

The Charlie Lake trucked waste facility, PRRD landfills and transfer stations are all closed on December 25 (Christmas) and January 1 (New Year's Day).

Regional Board intends to consider the proposal to rezone a 2.3 ha (5.6 ac) portion of the property from I-1 (Light Industrial Zone) to R-4 Residential 4 Zone) at the regular Board Meeting on January 8, 2026.
