Wildfire Evacuee Resiliency Centre opening at Nawican Friendship Centre June 14 & 15


We know this is a difficult time, and while evacuation orders remain in place, we’re also looking ahead — preparing to support residents for when it is safe to return home.

The Peace River Regional District Emergency Operations Centre, in partnership with the Nawican Friendship Centre, is opening a Resiliency Centre this weekend to provide evacuees with community support, resources, and information.

Wellness & connection space — drop in, connect with others
Emergency Support Services (ESS) — Assistance for evacuees (Sunday only)
Light refreshments provided

This is a space to connect, ask questions, and prepare for the return home and recovery.
