Peace River Valley – Geohazard Assessment RFP
The Peace River Regional District is inviting proposals from experienced and qualified professionals to complete an assessment of the north slopes of the Peace River Valley within the Regional District, south of the City of Fort St. John. The intent of this assessment is to define and identify steep slopes within the project area as well as identify possible areas that are at risk of landslides or unstable slopes that were not associated with the 2018 landslide. The second part of the assessment is the development of a comprehensive understanding of the risks that may result from flooding, including debris flood hazards, in and around the Buffious Creek area.
PROPOSALS clearly marked “Peace River Valley Geohazard Assessment RFP#12-2019“ will be received by the Peace River Regional District, 1981 Alaska Avenue, Dawson Creek V1G 1P7 until 2:00 p.m. (local time) on July 12, 2019. Proposals received after the specified time will be returned unopened to the proponent.
