Flood Plain Mapping RFP 34-2020
The PRRD is seeking a qualified professional to develop floodplain maps through the acquisition and utilization of elevation data and mapping, plotting of historical flood data and inundation mapping, hydrologic and hydraulic information to calculate flood elevations for selected flood events, geospatial mapping and modelling activities, and identifying locations of structures, people and assets that might be affected by flooding. The defined geographic area includes three areas located within the South Peace Region of the Peace River Regional District in northeastern British Columbia: Chetwynd Fringe Area, Moberly Lake and Pouce Coupe / Tomslake.

PROPOSALS clearly marked “RFP 34-2020 Flood Plain Mapping” will be received by the Peace River Regional District at email@example.com until 2:00 p.m. (local time) on August 25, 2020. Proposals received after the specified time will be returned to the proponent.
Each proponent will be solely responsible for examining all the RFP documents, including any addenda issued during the RFP period and for independently informing itself with respect to any and all information contained therein, and any and all conditions that may in any way affect the proposal, before the proposal is submitted.
Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of experience, references, completeness of the proposal, price and other factors as determined by the Regional District.
The Regional District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities at its own discretion. The lowest or any proposal will not necessarily be accepted and the Regional District reserves the right to negotiate terms and conditions with the successful proponent.
