Response Vehicles

The fire hall has 9 response vehicles:

Engine 1 (1999 International/Fort Gary)

  • First out engine
  • 1000 gallon water tank
  • Seating for 5 firefighters

Engine 2 (2006 Sterling/Hub)

  • 2000 gallon water tank
  • Seating for 6 firefighters

Tender 1(2014 Freightliner/Rosenbauer)

  • 1500 gallon water tank
  • Seating for 3
  • High pressure bumper turret and booster reel

Tender 2 (1987 Ford 5000/Superior)

  • 1500 gallon water tank
  • Seating for 3 firefighters

Rescue 1 (2005 Ford F 550/Anderson)

  • Seating for 6 firefighters
  • Carries rope rescue gear
  • Has a space to keep firefighters warm and out of the elements

Squad 3 (2014 GMC 3500)

  • Duty Officer/Deputy Chief’s truck
  • April – October, S3 is equipped with a wildland skid unit with 200 gallons of water and wildland firefighting tools

Squad 1 (2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500)

  • Fire Chief’s truck

Brush 1 (2006 GMC 3500)

  • Awaiting a wildland skid unit with 200 gallons of water and wildland firefighting tools
  • Tows the trailer with the UTV

Brush 2 (2016 Polaris Ranger 6×6 UTV)

  • Wildland skid unit with 75 gallons of water and wildland firefighting tools
  • Seating for 3 firefighters
  • Used for fighting grass fires in fields that the larger vehicle do not have access to
