Canada Post resumed operations on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, and is working through parcels stuck in the system since the strike began on November 15, 2024.
Residents in the Peace River Regional District will still experience delays in receiving mail as Canada Post stabilizes operations including for pickups, drop-offs and delivery. Please continue to observe the following options for paying balances and inquiries on payments. For more information on Canada Post operations, please visit their website.
The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) is notifying residents about mail service delays due to the Canada Post strike. This may affect the delivery of important documents like utility bills and invoices.
Alternative Options for Paying Bills
- In-Person: Visit our offices during regular hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm) at:
- 1981 Alaska Avenue, Dawson Creek
- 9505 100 Street, Fort St. John
- Online: Use online banking through your financial institution
Outstanding Balances and Payments
Outstanding utility balances as of December 31, 2024 will be added to your property taxes.
If you are expecting a payment from the PRRD, please contact Accounts Payable to set up direct deposit.
