Montney Centennial Regional Park will be part of a day-use pilot project starting in spring 2021. Over this three-year period the park will be available for day-use exclusive activities. The project was approved to accommodate much needed upgrades to the park including the development of trails, installing a picnic shelter, installing a fishing dock, updated signage and improvements to walkways and outhouses.
The goal of this project is to expand the recreational pursuits at the park and attract a broader range of visitors for unique experiences that are not readily available in the surrounding area. Come for a picnic, launch a canoe or fish off the shoreline! The PRRD also supports partnerships with clubs and organizations to create fun activities in the park. If you have an idea please reach out to Community Services staff at 250 784-3200.
