The Peace River Regional District is developing our first Regional Growth Strategy (RGS) and Regional Climate Resiliency Plan for the region. These are long-range, high-level plans that will help us better understand and prepare for the potential changes we can expect over the next 20 years with a growing population, new service demands, the regional economy and a changing climate.
A series of public engagement sessions across the region are scheduled in June 2024 with Regional District staff and the supporting consulting team.
