In response to safety concerns caused by theft, the PRRD has temporarily closed the Kelly Lake Transfer Station while staff strategize on steps to improve security. The Regional District will update the public as new information becomes available.
The nearest alternate depots are the Tomslake Transfer Station located at 15093 Old Edmonton Hwy (for hours click here), or the Dawson Creek Transfer Station located at 829 Highway 49 (for hours click here).

Accepts items such as household recycling, household waste, bulky waste, wood waste, metal waste and stewardship items such as tires and lead acid batteries. All Tier 1 Transfer Stations, excluding Dawson Creek, operate a Share Shed.
This site accepts clear bagged invasive plants for free! Dispose in the marked invasive plant bins. Residents can also pick up five clear bags from this site, while supplies last.
