The purpose of the proposed zoning amendment is to prohibit the distribution and retail of cannabis throughout all zones in all five of the PRRD zoning bylaws. Going forward, any location that is proposed for the distribution and/or retail sale of cannabis would be required to apply for and obtain a zoning bylaw amendment.
This proposed zoning amendment does not address medical marihuana production facilities.
