Province launches second phase of public engagement on Taylor Bridge

The Province is now launching the second phase of engagement on the Taylor bridge and is seeking input from bridge users, industry, interest groups, residents and the citizens of B.C. on the concepts for the future of the bridge.

The second phase builds on the input received in the fall 2021, when feedback was received through virtual open houses, surveys and written submissions. In Phase 1, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure also engaged local stakeholders  including industrial users, residents and businesses, and the public. The PRRD is urging all residents and user groups to make sure their voices are heard, and to complete one of the following engagement options by September 30, 2022:

North Peace Regional Airport user survey

The North Peace Regional Airport is conducting a short user survey and is looking for feedback from the community.

The survey is five questions long and includes the average times a person uses the airport a year, their priorities at the airport, additional feedback options and the airport’s impact on the communities near the airport.

The survey closes on August 15th at 5 p.m. PST.

That the Regional Board authorize that the correspondence dated February 28, 2022 from the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development, regarding licensing requirements for livestock watering, and the Water Policy Bulletin titled ‘Authorization requirements for storage and use of water in dugouts August 2017’, be posted to the PRRD website and social media channels.
