The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) is launching a new program called Seniors Aging in Place (SAIP) that will soon be available to residents aged 65 or older residing in Electoral Area D and eligible portions of Electoral Area E. Services offered through the SAIP program include fresh meal delivery, housekeeping, and snow removal between the months of November to March. These services will be delivered through the Dawson Creek Society for Community Living (DCSCL).
Eligible residents are encouraged to attend an upcoming information session to learn more about the SAIP program, which will be hosted throughout the region on the following dates:
- Tate Creek Community Hall (October 17, 2022, 1-3PM)
- Kelly Lake Community Hall (October 20, 2022, 1-3PM)
- Upper Cutbank (October 21, 2022, 1-3PM)
- Rolla Community Hall (October 24, 2022, 1-3PM)
- McLeod Community Hall (October 26, 2022, 1-3PM)
- Farmington Community Hall (October 27, 2022, 1-3PM)
