The Peace River Regional District offices will be closed on Monday, September 19 to honour the Day of Mourning proclaimed for Queen Elizabeth II. This day coincides with the late Queen’s state funeral in London, and will mark the end of the official period of mourning in Canada.
Regular hours will resume the following day (Tuesday, September 20).
*The PRRD Emergency Operations Centre will remain active to continue providing support for the Battleship Mountain and Bearhole Lake wildfires
