The Peace River Regional District would like to acknowledge Moose Hide Campaign Day, a day of ceremony and collective action to end violence towards women and children. Over 400,000 Canadians have registered to join the ceremony today and take the pledge to End Violence.
One of the strategic focus areas for the PRRD, is to enhance the effectiveness of our service delivery and advocacy through the pursuit of local, regional and inter-provincial partnerships; collaboration with our First Nations partners is critical to the success of this goal. It is vital that we have a collective voice on important issues like the ones that are being highlighted by Moose Hide Campaign Day.
