Intake open for Rural Recreational and Cultural Grant-in-Aid

The intake period is now open for the Rural Recreational and Cultural Grant-in-Aid, a grant that benefits rural communities within the electoral areas of the PRRD.

Funding is available to support not-for-profit organizations operating within Electoral Area B, C, E and sub-regional who provide recreation, arts, sports, social and cultural activities that benefit the communities they serve. Applicants must be a registered not-for-profit society and may apply for funding to assist with general operational costs, capital costs and/or special events.

Grants can provide a much needed financial boost to non-profits that are working to make an impact in their community. They can also provide access to resources that may not be available through other sources of funding. Grant funding allows non-profits to plan for the future, expand their services and provide the financial stability required for long-term growth and success.

*Applications must be submitted via email to prrd.dc@prrd.bc.ca on or before January 31.

For more information or to download a grant application, visit the Electoral Area Grants webpage on the PRRD website.
