The Environmental Services department operates and delivers programs and services relating to the treatment of invasive plants; residential and commercial recycling; regional solid waste management; and water and sewer functions for the rural area. Other Environmental Services programs are the funding and establishment of future rural water and sewer systems; and, with the aid of Northern Health, deliver the West Nile Virus program
