Library Planning Consultants, on behalf of the Peace River Regional District, is conducting a facility feasibility study for the Chetwynd Public Library. The purpose of this study is to analyze the library’s current use and to determine its future space requirements and programming.
The public and key stakeholders will be invited to participate through a number of public engagement strategies – including a survey, focus groups and telephone interviews. The project is expected to be completed by the fall of 2017. The results of the study will be made public and will be will be presented to the District of Chetwynd Mayor and Council and to the Peace River Regional District Board of Directors.
