North Peace Horticulture Sector Business Case Development

Working in partnership with local stakeholders, the North Peace Economic Development Commission (NPEDC) through the Peace River Regional District is soliciting bids from firms to develop a sector business case for the horticulture sector, in particular food production. The goal of the study is to engage with the horticulture stakeholders in the region to research challenges and opportunities, and develop a sector wide business case and specific initiatives to foster and support the commercialization of the horticulture sector throughout the North Peace.

Invasive Plant Management Area Controller

The Peace River Regional District is seeking proposals from suitably qualified persons or companies specializing in invasive plant management. The Area Controller will manage all infrastructure within the Regional District for both vegetation control and invasive plant management. Sealed submissions clearly marked “Proposal for Area Controller 01-2017” will be received by the Peace River Regional District, 1981 Alaska Avenue, Dawson Creek 
V1G 4H8 until 2 p.m. (local time) on February 24, 2017.
